Lord willing, the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, October 16-25, 2010. 4,000 leaders from across 200 countries are scheduled to gather to discuss several contemporary challenges as they relate to the Church and global evangelization. In light of this historic event, I am interrupting my series on church planting to provide you with some additional information on Cape Town. The schedule for the congress is available as a pdf HERE.
One of the amazing aspects of Cape Town 2010 is that technology will make this event accessible to the multitudes across the globe. Such was not the case for the two previous congresses. In this post, I want to share with you some helpful links related to the meeting. I also want to thank Jon Hirst, director of the Cape Town 2010 Blogger Network, for compiling many of these links for us.
