The Christian Post recently released an article addressing the decline in churches in Rhode Island. While there are Kingdom Citizens faithfully preaching the gospel in the highways and hedges, more laborers are greatly needed.
Only 2% of the population of the state is evangelical, with one evangelical church for every 8,500 people. Some of the metro areas have even greater needs. Consider the slide below:

Indeed! http://south.pointeri.com/ and http://north.pointeri.com/ are new church plants being used by God to reach RI but there is still a great need for more churches, disciples, and missionaries.

There is a new church plant in Providence called Sanctuary Church that is doing really well. The local newspaper just ran an article on them.
