Over the past several months, I have been posting videos on my YouTube Channel. I have been praying and evaluating whether or not this should continue, considering if I am being a wise steward with my time and if these videos are of value to you. So, we’ll see if this resource continues.
Historical study is of great value. We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us. While some of my videos are about contemporary missions-related topics, I have a periodic series titled This Week in Mission History in which I address a significant historical matter.
Below is the This Week in Mission History Series to date. I pray they will be of value to you.

Hey JD, Thanks for the great vid on the Moravians. Very edifying and inspiring! I encourage you to keep up the frontline apostolic Churchplanting extension of Christ’s program. It was your book ACP which my wife Sharon and I read in January 2017 that gave us focus as we responded to God’s call to plant a French evangelical Baptist Church in the east-end Montreal bourough of Ville d’Anjou. We are meeting weekly now, in the park during the summer, and on Zoom as of the cold weather. Our home base Church, Églises Baptiste Évangélique Renaissance de Rivière-des-Priaires, has a storefront hall and we gather the folk from the outreach project once a month in that hall. The Quebec Government allows meetings of 25, with masks and socially distanced. We have about twenty people, of which 3 or 4 would be considered converts (either first time believers or folk with weak doctrinal background who made decisions to recenter their faith on Christ’s finished work alone. Blessings on you! René Frey
Thank you, René, for both your encouragement and ministry. Keep up the great Kingdom work in Quebec. I have been there on different occasions and recognize the great needs.
