My last post here was March 31. On that day, I shared I would be taking time off from blogging (and YT and Strike the Match) until August. After 12 years of frequent writing here, I enjoyed the break so much that today is November 9.
Would I recommend, to long-haul bloggers, a hiatus? Yes, most definitely. I am a writer who loves to write, but most definitely.
Will I take time off again? Yes.
What did I do over the past several months? Tried to relax. Had fun. Worked on my next book. Took care of matters related to my mother’s estate. Taught classes. Graded papers. Traveled with family. Preached several sermons. Spoke at several conferences.
What inspired me to return here at this time? The cappuccino in my favorite Bham coffee shop.
