I hosted two writing and publishing clinics in May. Some who were unable to participate asked if I would consider another future event. Here you go.
On Tuesday, October 24, from 4:30-5:30 Central Time, I will host a 1 hour, on-line clinic on writing and publishing for ministry. In order to keep the session personal and allow for discussion, attendance will be limited to 10-12 people. The material covered will be the same as that shared in May. So, if you attended one of those sessions, I discourage you from attending this one.
I have published 15 non-fiction books since 2007 and presently working on number 16. Not as many as some, but more than most. I have done indie publishing, partial-investment publishing, and traditional publishing. It has been a privilege to work with Paternoster, Biblica, InterVarsity, Thomas Nelson, Baker Academic, Lexham, and William Carey. So, I want to share a few things the Lord has taught me about writing and publishing.
For the first 25-30 minutes, I will discuss my views and methods to non-fiction writing and publishing for ministry. The last 30 minutes or so will be a time for you to ask questions.
If you wish to participate, here is what I need:
1) A commitment to attend and pray for the event. Slots are limited. If you RSVP and do not show, then you will keep someone else from participating.
2) Contact me at jd.payne@samford.edu (do not contact me through this blog or DM on social media) to register. I will follow up with a Zoom link for October 24. If you do not hear from me, please assume the slots have been filled. I am not trying to be rude, but limited in time to respond to everyone who was unable to RSVP in time.
I do not plan to record and post the events.
