Happy New Year! I have returned after the hiatus of hiatuses. Fifteen years ago, I started this blog to offer content and resources to the Church throughout the world. The second post on January 14, 2010 was my study related to evangelical concentrations in the United States and Canada. In fact, I created this site to have a place to give away that information. Now dated, the findings resulted in new church planting strategies among the least reached areas of these countries. It has been a blessing to hear how this resource helped you in your ministry. And it has been a blessing to hear from you, in general, over these years.
I did not know I would still be posting after fifteen years. Who knows how long it will continue?Kingdom stewardship involves the ongoing process of evaluation.
Therefore, your feedback is important.
It is my desire what you find here (and with Strike the Match and my YT Channel-hopefully new content coming soon to both!) continues to be of value. If such is the case, please share this content with others. Also, I would love to hear from you. Do you have thoughts for future posts in 2025? Feel free to leave a comment or go old school and reach out to me at jd.payne @samford .edu.
I am on sabbatical from my teaching at Samford University. I have several engagements and projects scheduled for the next several months and will share at the appropriate times. However, I plan to post more at the blog this year. Stay tuned and stay in touch!
As always, thank you for visiting my site! Keep up the great Kingdom work in your part of the world!
I am reading the book, Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity Hardcover – by Peter Attia MD and one of the things he talks about is strategy versus tactics. It is making me think about how that might work in missions, especially church planting. I think that would make a great blog, and that you would be a good person to do it.Happy New Year.
Thank you, Linda, for sharing. That does sound like an interesting book and will definitely consider it for this year. Hope you are doing well in SF!
