Summer is approaching for those in this hemisphere. And if such is the case for you, then I hope you have a wonderful summertime season!
For the Payne Gang, this means a few family journeys. Every two years, we do some crazy road trip. We had plans to cover 7 European countries in 10 days, but the pandemic has caused us to hold off on that trip and turn our attention to a part of the U.S. For those interested, HERE is my IG account where I’ll post some summer pics. I’m not on TikTok yet, seeing I do not own yoga pants.
My posts at the blog will be sporadic throughout the summer. In addition to family travels, I am working on my next book Understanding Evangelism (Baker Academic) which will likely be published in 2023. Stay tuned. I’m hoping Theology of Mission (Lexham Press) and Apostolic Imagination (Baker Academic) will be published later this year. Everything is in the hands of the publishers. I’ll keep you informed via the social meds.
There are a couple of episodes remaining in season 6 of Strike the Match which will likely be released later this summer. If you are not caught up (or not a subscriber 😳), then summer is a great time to make that happen.
Over the past year, I have been experimenting with my YT Channel. I have posted a variety of videos using different approaches. This work is a stewardship matter. I am constantly praying and asking if I should provide such resources. Is there a need? Is this helpful to you? Is this a wise use of my time? Some days, I think yes, and other days, no. The verdict is undecided; so the experiment continues. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. I greatly appreciate your feedback.
